Version 7.8 of iReports is about to be released to staging sites with four great enhancements – they are:
To make it easier for publishers to change the look and feel of their iReports-powered sites, we have added a new section to the admin area. This new section is called ‘site customisation’ and administrators will increasingly find within all the elements they’ll need to modify their websites.
It’s now possible to swap the main image on your homepage for a carousel which rotates up to three images. To do so, click into the site customisation section of your admin area to upload the new images. It’s also possible to make each of these images link through to a different part of your website.
Sometimes new users don’t always follow the instructions in a welcome email and initiate their accounts. After sending out the welcome emails, it can be useful to know who has – and who hasn’t – logged in. Well, now you can. In the accounts area of the admin section, under ‘mass welcome email’, administrators can download an Excel report of those who have not yet logged in as instructed.
When looking at the analytics for an account, it’s now possible to view site data as it relates to all users (so, that’s including guests in open sites) or to instead filter to only see data for registered users and to better understand their usage.
