Version 7.10 launches – with new ‘request access for colleagues’ function

The release of Version 7.10 is the last iReports update of 2017 – but that doesn’t mean we have stopped developing. In fact, we’ve got loads of great new features lined up for launch in the New Year and in the meantime, we have these updates to tell you about:

Request access for a colleague

It’s now possible for a user to send whomever manages their account the details of a colleague who would benefit from access. The user simply clicks on their account details in the top righthand corner, selects ‘Request access for a colleague’ from the menu, enters their details, and presses ‘Send’.

Previews panel tidy up

It’s now even easier to see search results in context, thanks to a refresh of the previews panel. In search results, users click the preview chapter icon to draw up and easily review all the images and text mentions that match their search term.

When content is no longer available

For users that follow links to reports that are no longer available on the system, the system will now display a message explaining that the content has been removed.
